Radiology Technologist - Full-Time Day

About the role

Perform imaging examinations based on physician orders, utilizing advanced imaging equipment with attention to patient-specific needs and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality imaging with minimal radiation exposure.
  • Apply clinical judgment for proper patient positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards such as ALARA.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and maintain high standards of image quality in a hospital setting.
  • Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid Oregon Radiographer License or Temporary License.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS certification.
  • Relevant education in radiologic technology.
  • New graduates must obtain a permanent Oregon Radiographer License within 6 months.
