About the role
Perform imaging examinations based on physician orders, utilizing advanced imaging equipment with attention to patient-specific needs and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality imaging with minimal radiation exposure.
- Apply clinical judgment for proper patient positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards such as ALARA.
- Perform diagnostic imaging and maintain high standards of image quality in a hospital setting.
- Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Oregon Radiographer License or Temporary License.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
- BLS certification.
- Relevant education in radiologic technology.
- New graduates must obtain a permanent Oregon Radiographer License within 6 months.
