About the Role

Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using advanced equipment, ensuring high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure. Collaborate with a skilled team in a dynamic environment, gaining experience across various radiologic specialties such as surgical imaging, fluoroscopy, invasive procedures, and outpatient imaging in multiple hospital departments.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize physician orders to conduct imaging procedures, applying clinical judgment for proper patient positioning, radiation dose calibration, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain ALARA principles to ensure minimal radiation exposure for patients and staff.
  • Contribute to patient care by delivering accurate, timely imaging services.

Requirements

  • Meet licensing and certification requirements, including Oregon Radiographer License or temporary license, and obtain national certification within 6 months.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • New graduates must secure a temporary license and attain a permanent license within 6 months.
