Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in general radiology for adult and pediatric patients, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Prepare patients and equipment, provide high-level customer service, and independently conduct radiographic exams, including portable and on-call procedures.
- Manage shift operations, prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot equipment or IT issues.
- Serve as a clinical resource, mentor staff, and assist in training students or new employees.
- Act as a liaison between the team and leadership, communicating effectively and escalating issues when necessary.
- Assume supervisory responsibilities in their absence and ensure optimal patient care and department efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate or Trade School education.
- 2-5 years of experience as a radiology technologist.
- Radiology technologist certification and IEMA license (excluding MRI).
- Preferred qualifications: 5-10 years of experience and CPR certification.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
