Radiology Technologist (Cardiac Cath / Vascular)

Role Overview This position is for an Advanced Modality - Cath Lab/Vascular Radiology Technologist (Imaging), responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in cardiovascular and vascular settings using advanced equipment such as Siemens fluoroscopy machines. The role involves supporting procedures in a hybrid OR and cath lab, monitoring patient vitals, setting up sterile fields, and working alongside nurses and providers during interventions. Cross-training for scrubbing is available, offering opportunities to expand skills beyond general radiology. Responsibilities Include Preparing patients and equipment for imaging procedures.Performing studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations.Supporting vascular procedures, monitoring patient responses, and maintaining sterile fields.Providing imaging support during complex and critical interventions. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher).Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))).Experience levels range from new grads to seasoned radiologic technologists; experience in MR, CT, X-ray, and interventional radiology is preferred.Licenses and certifications such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, and CPR are required or preferred.
