About the role
Radiology Technologist position available at High Lakes Urgent Care in Bend, Oregon. The schedule is two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no mandatory call.
Responsibilities
- Perform and position patients for X-ray examinations with skill and compassion
- Deliver preliminary reports and quality images to physicians in a timely manner
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment
- Follow radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Communicate openly with the care team and educate patients in plain language
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Satisfactory completion of ARRT certification examination with current license
- Current continuing education compliance per ARRT requirements
- Two years of radiology imaging experience preferred but not required. New grads are welcome.

- Experienced tech ready for a predictable, daytime schedule

Physical requirements
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands
- Occasional sitting, stooping, and kneeling
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently
- Work in a medical office and exam/procedure room setting
- Potential exposure to blood and body fluids
- Offered the Hepatitis-B vaccination series
