Radiology Technologist, Bend OR (Urgent Care) Part-time

About the role

Radiology Technologist position available at High Lakes Urgent Care in Bend, Oregon. The schedule is two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no mandatory call.

Responsibilities

• Perform and position patients for X-ray examinations with skill and compassion
• Deliver preliminary reports and quality images to physicians in a timely manner
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment
• Follow radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines
• Communicate openly with the care team and educate patients in plain language

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Satisfactory completion of ARRT certification examination with current license
• Current continuing education compliance per ARRT requirements
• Two years of radiology imaging experience preferred but not required. New grads are welcome.

• Experienced tech ready for a predictable, daytime schedule
• A working parent or caregiver needing a stable schedule
• A new ARRT graduate looking to build confidence and skills
• A semi-retired tech wanting to stay active in the field

Physical requirements

• Regular standing, walking, and use of hands
• Occasional sitting, stooping, and kneeling
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently
• Work in a medical office and exam/procedure room setting
• Potential exposure to blood and body fluids
• Offered the Hepatitis-B vaccination series
