About the role
As a Radiology Tech Student, you will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist using JRCERT guidelines. You will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of anatomy, image quality, radiographic positioning, radiographic technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations under supervision.
- Communicate the nature of tests to patients and alleviate their anxiety.
- Assist in maintaining a work area free from hazards.
- Demonstrate a pleasant and helpful manner to patients, physicians, subordinates, and department staff.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Working toward completion of a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (verification from school required).
- Must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire.
