Radiology Tech Intern / Casual | Grove City Hospital
Essential Responsibilities
- Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to perform imaging.
- Prepares for and assists the physician in imaging procedures.
- Completes all required documentation for procedures, e.g. regulatory, billing protocol and image distribution.
- Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
- Affords patient comfort and expedites patient flow by documenting the patient's clinical information.
- Maintains adequate supplies for efficient department operations.
- May assist in the preparation of contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Presently enrolled, and in good standing, in a radiology technologist program
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
