Radiology Tech/Full-Time-Afternoon/Atrium Medical Center

About the role

At Atrium Medical Center’s Medical Imaging Unit, the Radiology Tech works Afternoon/Evenings (1:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.) on a full‑time schedule, independently performing diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques and contrast media administration.

Responsibilities

• Works under scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure for medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture.
• Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department.
• Exercises professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
• May have on‑call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT RT (R) registry required.
• ODH licensure required.
• No prior job‑related work experience required; preferred: one year experience in a medical/patient care environment.

Skills

• Human anatomy knowledge.
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Proficient in Radiology Information System (RIS) and image storage.
• Radiation safety awareness.

Schedule

Afternoon/Evenings shift: 1:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., full‑time.
