Radiology Tech

Performs various radiographic services, including positioning patients prior to radiographic exposures and operating and maintaining all radiographic equipment.

Qualifications

• Serves patients of all age groups.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.

Requirements

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Florida State License as a Radiologic Technologist.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification or proof of program completion and a temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license at time of hire. If temporary license is held, must pass the ARRT Certification exam and obtain full Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Less than one year of radiological experience and formal training.
