Responsibilities

• Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician.
• Positions patients for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology.
• Operates radiation producing equipment and electronic radiology systems.
• Prepares patient room, equipment, and medications.
• Maintains adequate supply inventory.
• Explains examinations and procedures to patients.
• Completes departmental documentation.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate in Radiologic Technology.
• Radiography certification required (ARRT).
