Schedule

Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all radiological procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competencies for all related components.
• Accurately follows all established imaging protocols for the exam being performed.
• Provides quality age-specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
• Adheres to the Radiation Safety Policies and the principles of a viable dose reduction program.
• Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire (required).
• No prior work experience required.
