About the role
Deliver essential diagnostic services by safely and accurately preparing patients, administering contrast media, and providing necessary medications in strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Optimize image quality by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters, ensuring physicians receive the clearest data for accurate diagnostic reporting.
Prioritize patient safety and comfort by rigorously monitoring vital signs during procedures and strictly adhering to all radiation protection protocols.
Maintain the integrity of the patient record by promptly submitting high-quality images and complete clinical data, ensuring seamless and timely communication for the entire care team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver essential diagnostic services by safely and accurately preparing patients, administering contrast media, and providing necessary medications in strict adherence to regulatory standards.
- Optimize image quality by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters, ensuring physicians receive the clearest data for accurate diagnostic reporting.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort by rigorously monitoring vital signs during procedures and strictly adhering to all radiation protection protocols.
- Maintain the integrity of the patient record by promptly submitting high-quality images and complete clinical data, ensuring seamless and timely communication for the entire care team.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty.
- State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using imaging equipment and software.
