About the role

A student Radiologic Technologist assists in the preparation of diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a qualified Radiologic Technologist and Radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Patient positioning
• Equipment operation
• Maintaining patient records
• Safely and efficiently transporting patients to and from various radiology departments and other hospital areas
• Absorbing other duties like stocking supplies, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Student in good standing of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology
• Experience in a Hospital Setting is preferred
• Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards
• Mature and able to work in stressful situations
