Job Summary

CoxHealth South is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology procedures under the supervision of a physician and/or registered radiologic technologists. The position requires adherence to established standards of medical care, anatomical positioning, and physiology to produce high-quality images.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care.
• Follows policies and protocols to produce optimum images.
• Ensures patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort are top priorities.

Requirements

• No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Required: Senior student in or Graduate of a CoxHealth affiliated School/College of Radiologic Technology with successful completion of academic and clinical requirements of a first year student in the program.

Skills

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Must pass ARRT registry exam within 6 months of Radiology School graduation.
