About the Role

We are seeking a Radiology Student Extern PRN to join our team at Corpus Christi Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare. This role ensures we continue to provide all patients with high-quality, efficient care while supporting your growth in the radiology field.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for imaging by obtaining histories, verifying identities, and assisting with positioning while communicating clearly and compassionately.
Safely transport patients between areas, supporting their comfort and emotional needs during procedures.
Set up imaging rooms, manage turnover, and organize supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
Serve as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team by communicating needs and concerns promptly.
Take ownership of your growth by participating in learning opportunities and following safety and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

Current enrollment in an accredited radiology technology program, or 6 months post-graduation.
Completion of prerequisite coursework in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) required.
