Radiology Physician - Neurological

About the role

Become part of a dedicated neuroradiology service at Detroit Medical Center, a Level I trauma center and pediatric hospital, with a focus on academic excellence, resident education, and quality-driven care. This position offers 100% neuro reads, no call, predictable weekday shifts, and a strong emphasis on teaching through daily resident interaction.

Responsibilities

• Read exclusively neuro cases across six DMC hospitals
• No call schedule
• Volume of 45–50 studies per shift, approximately 10,000 wRVUs annually
• Predictable on-site 8-hour weekday shifts
• Practice in an academic, quality-focused environment
• Engage in daily resident interaction via the I-Collaborate platform
• Participate in quality initiatives, projects, and educational programs

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Neuroradiology (U.S.-trained)
• Passion for resident teaching and academic medicine
• Comfort with the pace of an academic environment

Qualifications

• New graduates and experienced neuroradiologists both welcome
• Specialty: Neuroradiology
• Experience in a similar setting preferred
