Radiology Operations Coordinator

About the role

Sentara Port Warwick, located in Newport News, VA, is seeking a Radiology Operations Coordinator to support the MRI technologist with IV starts, provide exceptional patient and customer service, verify scheduled appointments, and perform various administrative duties. This is a full-time position on a weekend day shift.

Schedule

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and clinical support in an accurate manner to ensure timely delivery of patient services in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Supports MRI technologist with IV starts.
• Provides exceptional patient and customer service.
• Verifies scheduled appointments.
• Performs various administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• IV certification (Preferred, but not required as training will be provided).
• Previous patient care experience (Preferred).
• Previous healthcare experience (Preferred).
