Job Summary
The Radiology Operations Assistant is responsible for providing clerical, technical and clinical operations support dedicated to meeting the needs of customers and departmental operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in healthcare environment preferred.

- Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communications.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective communications and to maintain a wide variety of internal and external cooperative working relationships with physicians, patients, staff, and other employees.
Competencies
- Patient Care: Ensures patient safety and comfort while in the radiology department. Explains the procedure and post-procedure orders to the patient to gain cooperation and minimize anxiety. Prioritizes workflow in regard to patient condition and ensures patients' arrival and departure occur in a timely manner. Provides an atmosphere conducive to gain the patient's cooperation and confidence.
