About the role

The Radiology Multi-Care Tech assists in preparing patients for interventional procedures and participates in their post-procedure care. This role works under the direct supervision of an RN.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing patients for interventional procedures
• Participates in post-procedure care of patients
• Works under the direct supervision of an RN
• Knowledge of the wide variety of procedures performed is important
• Effective communication skills are required
• High awareness of the department’s schedule is important

Requirements

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred
• Must be able to work in all areas of the department, including MRI

Skills

• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong interpersonal and critical-thinking skills
• Able to work in all areas of the department, including MRI
• Self-starter and flexible with work schedule
