Radiologist - Locum Tenens

About the role

This role involves general radiology reading across all modalities, including CT, US, MRI, PET scans, and light interventional procedures such as guided drainage and biopsies. The candidate will perform a diverse range of imaging, including body, MSK, neuro, and breast imaging, with procedures like joint injections and paracentesis. Breast biopsy experience is preferred. Hospital privileges are required to ensure smooth practice. Overall, the position demands a versatile radiologist capable of handling a high-volume practice with diverse imaging and procedural responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting high-volume exams
• Participating in weekend call
• Contributing to patient care through diagnostic imaging and minor procedures

Qualifications

• Relevant imaging experience
• Proficiency in various modalities
• Hospital privileges

Skills

• Performing procedures such as joint injections and paracentesis (essential)
• Breast biopsy experience (advantageous)
