Radiologic Technology Adjunct
Responsibilities
The Division of Health Sciences at Brightpoint Community College augments full-time teaching faculty with qualified part-time instructors to enhance the student learning process. If you are currently a radiologic technologist and would like to help educate future technologists, consider teaching part-time with Brightpoint Community College in our radiologic technology program as an adjunct faculty.
Orientation to the responsibilities will be provided by full-time faculty or the Program Director. Course textbooks provided as well as orientation to Brightpoint classroom support software. Adjunct faculty provides traditional delivery instruction at the off-campus instructional site. Courses may be taught during the day and evening.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Requirements
Minimum of an associate’s degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
Holds current ARRT certification and registration in radiography.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Must successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline preferred with prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
Ability to use instructional technologies.
