Professional Certification/Licensure

Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification examination. Successful completion allows program graduates to use the professional credentials RT(R), Registered Radiologic Technologist.

Mission Statement

The radiologic technology program of Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley will prepare students for competent entry level service in the healthcare community of diagnostic radiologic technology and create opportunities for graduate success in the profession of radiologic technology.

Program Goals and Learning Outcomes

• Other Expenses: CBC/FCSR/Drug Screen/Document Services $140, Immunizations Costs will vary, Trajecsys (one time fee) $150, Course Fees $65 per RATE course (16 total RATE courses)
