Position Details
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
About the Role
This role is available on-site and is full-time (36 hours), working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00a-7:30p. Mercy offers a $10,000 sign-on incentive and inpatient differential.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
- Maintain high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
- No prior experience required
- Obtained ARRT registry or Registry eligible (must achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
