Radiologic Technologist - Up to $12,000 Sign-On Bonus

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position working the day/evening shift with a weekend rotation. Eligible for a sign-on bonus prorated based on experience.

About the role

The Hospital Radiologic Technologist provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients and physicians in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include supporting imaging procedures, surgical cases, fluoroscopy studies, portable x-ray, and general x-ray. You will assist in preparing supplies/equipment for surgical and special procedure cases, respond to codes, trauma activations, and other emergent imaging needs in an acute care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains patient care and performs examinations.
  • Identifies relevant data from images accurately and communicates it clearly to healthcare professionals.
  • Participates in creating a culture of patient safety and demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness.
  • Verifies patient identification and documentation; communicates with and educates patients during exams.
  • Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.
  • Ensures patient data integrity by accurately completing computer functions (editing, scheduling, billing, status changes, and image transfers).
  • Performs accurate image marking, digital image manipulation, and archiving.

Requirements

  • ARRT Certification/Registration.
  • Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.).
  • 3 years of experience as a technologist in a hospital setting.

Pay

Compensation is based on skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making offers. Hiring at the maximum of the posted range is not typical. If eligible, a sign-on bonus may be included as part of the offer.
