Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of our patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for patients, including performing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our Centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for x-ray services as needed
  • Under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
  • Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use.
  • Will need to push patient in a wheelchair.
  • Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma (required)
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)
  • Certifications (Required At Time Of Hire): Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)). American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required. Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required. Valid State Driver’s License
  • Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred.
