Role Overview

A Radiologic Technologist with Operating Room experience performs diagnostic radiology procedures, collaborates with radiologists, surgeons, and nurses, and coordinates procedures in the OR. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient-centered service, and maintaining accurate digital records.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic exams safely and accurately
• Provide excellent patient education, customer service, and radiation safety checks
• Maintain precise documentation in RIS and PACS systems
• Serve as a clinical supervisor and mentor for imaging students
• Assist with workflow improvements, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program
• At least 1 year of OR radiologic technologist experience
• Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT registration
• Current BLS certification (or obtained at hire)
