About the Role
A Radiologic Technologist produces high-quality radiographs efficiently while prioritizing patient care across all ages. They utilize various imaging equipment, including DR, CR, fluoroscopes, C-arms, and portable units, and manage patient information through Cerner and PACS systems. The role requires troubleshooting skills, reliability in covering open shifts, and adherence to policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with attention to quality and safety
- Ensure patient comfort and meet psychosocial needs based on age and development
- Operate multiple imaging modalities and equipment
- Utilize electronic health records and PACS for patient data management
- Troubleshoot equipment issues independently
- Maintain reliable coverage for scheduled shifts
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; AMA-JCH approved Radiological Technology program preferred
- Associate’s degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience preferred
- ARRT registered Rad Tech and BLS certification required
