Radiologic Technologist - PRN

Role Summary

Performs various radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation to support patient diagnosis and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in advanced procedures such as ERCPs, fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, and more, demonstrating competency and troubleshooting skills.
• Ensures quality imaging by verifying markers, documenting information, and preparing images for radiologist review.
• Maintains patient safety, manages workflow, and communicates delays or concerns to patients and staff.
• Operates PACS and EMR systems accurately, processes charges, and ensures proper documentation.
• Responds appropriately to emergency situations and stays informed of departmental updates.
• Promotes patient satisfaction by adhering to organizational standards and behavior essentials.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certified through an accredited radiology program with ARRT registration and SCRQSA certification (if applicable).
• CPR certification required.
• Customer service, teamwork, proficient computer skills, data entry, and knowledge of PACS and EMR systems.
