About the role
The Mobile Radiologic Technologist, Driving ("Mobile RT") works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to provide various technical procedures and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis of patients. This role also involves providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the urgent care centers.
Responsibilities
- Perform x-ray services for patients under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider, ensuring correct patient positioning and protection during use of equipment.
- Travel between multiple sites to provide X-ray services, including pushing patients in wheelchairs.
- Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.
- Work flexibly and respond to the needs of patients and the organization, accommodating the traveling nature of the role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (required)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Tech program (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration (required)
- Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (required)
- Valid State Driver’s License (required)
- Pass MVR background check (required)
