Radiologic Technologist - Part-Time - Days
Overview
Radiology Technologists at Henry Ford Health perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the direction of Radiologists. They evaluate pathological entities as ordered by physicians and adhere to department protocols.
Education/Experience Required
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Maintain required hours of continued education.
Certifications/Licenses Required
- Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible.
- If registry eligible, obtain registration within 6 months of date of hire.
- Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
Responsibilities
Utilize independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.
