About the role
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing radiologic procedures with technical skill and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manipulating x-ray equipment
- Evaluating radiographs
- Ensuring patient safety during imaging procedures
- Operating radiographic and mobile equipment
- Selecting appropriate exposure factors
- Transporting patients
- Maintaining high-quality imaging standards
- Handling stressful situations
- Recognizing emergencies
- Communicating effectively with patients and team members
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- State licensure (may be required)
- ARRT certification or eligibility, with certification achieved within 6 months of hire
- Technical proficiency with radiographic equipment
- Understanding of anatomy
- Physical ability to lift and move patients
- Ability to handle continual standing, walking, and adapt to dynamic clinical environments
- Proficiency in using radiographic equipment, processors, and computers
