Radiologic Technologist, Nashoba Valley, PD (Float)
Major Responsibilities
- Properly performs all diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiologic techniques and examinations, consistent with the age of the patient, within in-patient or outpatient settings, in compliance with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
- Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
- Accurately completes all exams, paperwork and submits promptly.
- Positions and transfers patients appropriately.
- Assists physicians with interventional exams.
- Promptly and properly completes exams and appropriately performs QA to images and then sends exams to PACS for review by the radiologist.
- Assists in maintaining an orderly inventory.
- Provides Radiological technology skills to perform all exams including portables, Emergency Department work, C-ARM, fluoroscopy, and general radiology procedures.
- Assists with any other job-related duties including film hanging, office duties and discrepancy documentation and follow-up.
Position Qualifications
All responsibilities are essential job functions. License/Certification/Education: Required: Graduate of an accredited radiological program. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Preferred: Experience/Skills: Required: Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to product optimum results. Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families. Preferred: Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.

- Constantly: Working Indoors, Precise Hearing required, and Precise Vision required; Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, and Pulling – Less than 10 pounds.
- Frequently: Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Twisting, Reaching, Grasping.
- Often: Sitting, Bending, Kneeling, Performing Repetitive Movements, High Level of Stress, Precise Motor Skills required; Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, and Pulling – 10 pounds to over 100 pounds.
- Never: Climbing, Balancing, Crawling, Working Outdoors, Working in Temperature Extremes, and Working at Heights.

Qualifications
Under the supervision of the Senior Radiologic Technologist, provides direct patient care services and other related functions in support of the department. Performs independently within scope of department policies. Clinically works at the direction of a qualified Radiologist.
Pay
Hiring Range: $28.39 - $51.11 Please note that the final offer may vary within this range based on a candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
