About the role

Radiologic Technologist II responsible for operating digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images in a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment following physician instructions and protocols.
• Provide diagnostic imaging services across all ages, ensuring image quality and safety standards.
• Support invasive procedures using C-Arm/O-Arm technologies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training.
• Maintain a clean and prepared work environment, manage supplies, and ensure equipment functionality.
• Communicate effectively with patients to gather history, explain procedures, and support their needs.
• Document activities accurately and ensure timely image processing.
• Adhere to safety, ethical, and organizational policies, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or accredited radiologic technology certificate.
• Minimum three years of radiography and fluoroscopy experience.
• ARRT certification, Maryland/Virginia licensure, and BLS certification required.
