Role Overview This position involves performing imaging procedures in accordance with organizational standards and policies. The technologist reviews patient history, educates patients about procedures, prepares and administers contrast media when needed, and ensures equipment safety and quality control. They position patients, analyze imaging results, troubleshoot issues, and transmit images, working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); additional specialty certifications may be required.Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently.Strong communication and patient education skills. Key Responsibilities Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients about procedures.Prepare and administer contrast media and monitor patient condition.Set up equipment, select appropriate imaging parameters, and perform quality control.Position patients, perform imaging, analyze results, and troubleshoot imaging issues.Work efficiently in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and image quality.
