About the role
We are seeking a CT Technologist/Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures such as CT scans and X-Rays with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
- Perform imaging exams in accordance with policies, regulations, and laws, notifying physicians of results.
- Assist healthcare teams with patient care and clinical procedures under supervision.
- Maintain documentation, logs, and records accurately in both paper and electronic formats.
- Collect laboratory samples, perform lab tests per established procedures and regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance, quality control, proficiency testing, and record-keeping for all imaging and lab activities.
- Support ER functions when needed, and travel to various facility locations as required.
- Participate in staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, with graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program.
- Certification as a medical radiologic technologist and ARRT registration in radiography; CT registration preferred or required within 12 months.
- Current BLS certification.
- 2+ years of radiologic/imaging experience; CT and ER experience preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency with imaging hardware/software and PACS.
- Fluency in English.
