Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
- Perform patient positioning, explain procedures, adjust equipment settings, and ensure patient safety during exams
- Prepare equipment and exam rooms
- Document procedures accurately
- Verify images on PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
Requirements
- ARRT-R certification
- Oregon Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- PREFERRED: Associate’s degree in radiologic technology
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree in radiologic technology.
Skills
Strong technical skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
