Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate imaging equipment proficiently.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Maintain high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• No prior experience required for entry-level Radiologic Technologist.
• Obtain ARRT registry or be registry eligible (achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility).
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Completed required clinical hours.

Career ladder opportunities include Advanced Radiologic Technologist (requires 1+ years relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree, ARRT (R) certification, BLS) and Senior Radiologic Technologist (similar requirements plus completion of all required competencies).
