About the Role
Performs radiological procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist and Imaging Manager in a high-acuity environment, supporting trauma teams and emergency services. Ensures accurate imaging, patient safety, and timely communication of critical information. Adheres to radiation safety standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements while providing compassionate care to patients with complex, emergent conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
- Communicate critical imaging findings promptly to trauma teams and emergency services.
- Provide compassionate care to patients with complex, emergent medical conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and professional standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Registered as an RT(ARRT) or eligible for registration within one year of employment.
- BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- One year of general radiography experience preferred but not mandatory.
