Job Summary Radiologic Technologist - DAYS Talented Medical Solutions Contract In-Office | Tuscaloosa, AL, United States Position Description HOLIDAY AS REQUIRED BY DCH. Weekend on-call every 6 weeks. To perform operations of the radiological equipment and Cath lab procedure equipment with expertise and safety, to assist with the care of patients in the Cath lab and perform the necessary documentation regarding the patient’s cardiac procedures). Operation of radiologic equipment, demonstrating knowledge, and application of scientific principles of radiologic technology. Utilizes knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique in assisting with procedure preparation. Assists in preparation of patients for all procedures including setting up sterile trays; cross trains to scrub role and assist physician, when needed. Must cross train to the scrub position. Takes 3-11 and/or 11-7, weekend and holiday call. 1 weekend call Fr-Sun in a 6-week period Must be able to respond within 20 minutes of a call-out. 4x10 hour shifts a week. (DCH will advise start & end times) 7a – 5:30 pm , POSSIBLE 5 AM START TIMES. Some late days during the week. 30-minute lunches. Certifications – Required AHA BLS OR RED CROSS Licenses – Required Radiologic Technologist licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. ( AART ) Experience - Required 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 years of recent experience in the field of specialty.
