About the Role
A Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiological exams using appropriate imaging equipment in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and review medical records.
- Interview patients to gather medical history and assess risk factors.
- Explain procedures, side effects, risks, and benefits to patients.
- Set up equipment and acquire diagnostic images.
- Review and interpret images, then communicate findings to radiologists.
- Respond to medical emergencies as needed.
- Provide post-care instructions to patients.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Educate residents, students, and new staff.
- May take call or standby shifts as required.
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

- Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Ability to operate complex imaging equipment.
