Radiologic Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Operating digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to acquire images per physician specifications.
• Ensuring image quality, proper patient identification, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives and training activities.
• Maintaining a clean, organized work environment and managing supplies.
• Communicating effectively with patients to gather medical history, explain procedures, and support patient comfort.
• Performing quality control and reporting equipment issues promptly.
• Distributing images efficiently.
• Upholding professionalism, organizational values, and compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or a radiologic technology certificate from an accredited program.
• ARRT registration and state licensure required upon hire; BLS certification required.
• No prior work experience necessary.

Skills and Qualities Needed

• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
