Radiologic Technologist

About the role

Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join their exceptional care team. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Schedule & Location

• Full-time, 32 hours per week
• Typical schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with 1 weekend rotation every 5 weeks
• Schedule locations: Essex, Madison and Guilford, CT

Essential Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient’s illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures
• Connect with the patient. From pre-screening for precautions or contraindications, to explaining the procedure and offering emotional support throughout, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experience

Skills And Abilities

• The ability to provide quality, compassionate patient care
• A positive attitude and friendly, courteous demeanor
• Able to maintain medical equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting
• Able to comply with all HIPAA requirements

Requirements

• Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology
• Must possess a radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut
• New Grads welcome to apply
• Having worked in an EMR/EHR considered a plus
