About the role

Radiologic Technologist (RT | Mobile-Local)

Location(s): Lagrangeville, NY (Dutchess County including Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, and Fishkill).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for x-ray services as needed
• Perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use.
• Travel between multiple sites to provide X-ray services.
• Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.
• The traveling nature of this role requires the Mobile RT to be flexible and responsive to the needs of patients and the organization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required)
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required.
• Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• Valid State Driver’s License
• Must pass MVR background check

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience preferred

• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software preferred

Benefits

Monthly Bonus: This position offers monthly incentive pay based on performance metrics.

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Full-Time positions only)

Pay

Hourly Pay: $45.00 – $52.00 (based on experience)
