About the role

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Assists in performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Assists in performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention.
• Assumes responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required.

Requirements

• Mandatory Education: ARRT (Amer Reg Rad Technologist)
• Preferred Education: BLS (Basic Life Support/CPR), FL RT (Florida Radiologic Tech), RTR (Registered Tech Radiology)

Qualifications

• Mandatory License and Certifications: ARRT, BLS, FL RT, RTR

Skills

• Independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative
• Ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention

Benefits

• Open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays are required.
• Shifts can vary from 8 hour shifts to 10 and 12 hour shifts.
• Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is required.
