About the Role
This position is responsible for producing quality diagnostic images across all patient age categories, maintaining infection control procedures, and adhering to departmental policies. The role involves preparing and administering contrast media and performing general duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Produce quality diagnostic X-rays for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Maintain infection control procedures according to established protocols.
- Perform general duties and conform to all departmental policies.
- Assume responsibility for all assigned duties.
- Prepare and administer contrast media.
- Maintain good communication skills and professional image.
- Strive to work well as a team member and contribute to a clean, safe, and secure environment.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school.
- Meets requirements for registry by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- Entry-level experience accepted.
- Good physical and mental health.
