About the Role

The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries and acts as an aide during invasive radiological interventions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast agents as required.
• Select appropriate imaging techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols.
• Enter and manage patient data accurately.
• Conduct equipment quality assurance checks.
• Report malfunctions or accidents promptly.
• Provide emergency call coverage as needed.
• Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
• Follow institutional policies and procedures.
• Contribute to departmental goals through ongoing education, mentorship, and professional development.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Texas Medical Board license.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or ALS (Advanced Life Support) certification.
