About the Role
Performs imaging procedures within scope and standards, ensuring patient safety and quality results.
Responsibilities
- Reviews patient history and orders.
- Educates patients on procedures.
- Prepares and administers contrast/media.
- Operates imaging equipment and analyzes images.
- Troubleshoots technical issues and maintains safety standards.
- Positions patients to ensure optimal imaging quality and takes corrective actions when needed.
- Performs patient assessment, procedure preparation, equipment management, image analysis, and quality control.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certified.
Skills
