Radiography Technologist I

Role Overview

This position performs imaging procedures in accordance with standards, policies, and organizational values.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders
• Educates patients about procedures
• Prepares and administers contrast media
• Monitors patient condition
• Prepares equipment and selects imaging parameters
• Ensures safety and quality control
• Positions patients and analyzes images
• Resolves image quality issues
• May work with radiology students

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Registered with ARRT, with required state licensure if applicable
• BLS certification is mandatory
• No prior experience required
• Must demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
