Radiography Level II Film Interpreter

Key Responsibilities

• Review film in accordance with specification applicable for part and class
• Review radiographic technique forms for completeness and accuracy
• Documentation and maintenance of records
• Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards
• Exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion in determining long-term goals, objectives and approaches to assignments
• Serve as a consultant to management and external contacts
• Represent the organization on major matters pertaining to policies, plans and objectives
• Be responsible for teaching/mentoring new analysts

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• A minimum of 2+ years of radiography experience- including minimum 1 year as certified Level I radiographer
• Must be able to obtain EB Level II RT certification within one (1) year
• Must be able to work overtime when required.(including weekends and holidays)
• Must be able to work other shifts as business needs

Qualifications

• Proof of any relevant OJT and /or certifications must be provided by the applicant in order to be considered
• Current level II certification IAW Tech Pub -271 / NAVSEA 250-1500-1

Preferred

• Previous radiography film interpretation experience
• Experience shooting and viewing castings
• Previous radiography shooting qualifications/experience
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
