Responsibilities
- Actively participate in a training program to interpret images, learn radiation safety, and operate equipment.
- Practice interpretation of production radiographs in accordance with procedure/contract requirements.
- Operate regulated ionizing radiation producing machines and the associated radiation detection instruments under direct supervision.
- Verify all are certified for accuracy and ensure a current calibration certificate is on file.
- May be asked to instruct operations personnel assigned to X-ray in proper procedures and operation of the radiographic systems.
- Maintain log book tracking training hours.
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- X-ray or Non Destructive Testing experience preferred
- Ability to obtain Level I Radiography certification
- Ability to obtain Industrial Radiographer License
Skills
- Skills and knowledge to process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization in accordance with approved work instructions.
- Ability to carry out necessary preparation of parts before or after inspection in accordance with approved work instructions.
- Conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.
- Ability to follow work instructions.
- Accuracy and thoroughness.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $25.50/HR (Plus $1/HR increase following required training).
